This Friday June 29, we took part in a conference with Slow Food, in the buildings of the Mollat Bookshop at Bordeaux, with a signature of the works of Bernard Lafon, in particular on Verjuice! The taste constituted the federator subject ! In front of the quantity of books and the multiplication of the publications, the subject deserved to be analyzed and deepened... The public was attentive, curious, passioned and obviously expert. With through four crossed glances, the whole of the participants (strong many!) was obviously charmed, because the discussions were prolonged extremely late! With Alimenthus find the sense of the taste and the real organic products of the soil !

| July 3 : Heritage Vegetables are invited in Brussels |

It is at the request of the Standing Committee of the European Parliament, that we will present our step as well as the importance of Heritage Vegetables, as regards and of sustainable food. After having taken part last October, during two days, with an International Workshop under the aegis of the European Parliament, our project was retained as a significant example, as regards protection of and development. Would the stakes of a real sustainable alimentation arrive under fires of the slope? An exceptional visit around the biodiversity food !

June 1 at September 21, the network « Bienvenue à la Ferme »" organizes in partnership with the Chambre d’Agriculture, 13 "Marchés de Producteurs de Pays" in the Gironde. Like the year spent, these markets should know enormous succés: more than 8.000 meals were been useful in user-friendliness and good mood! Isabelle Lafon proposes to you to share her experiment while taking you along in botanical walk, on our site of "Oh! Légumes Oubliés", in order to rediscover our environment and the plants which allowed us since centuries to diversify our food. You will discover the wild nettle, the various plantains, the chickweed, the pulmonary one...... and well of other delicacies of nature! Several dates are proposed to you, but the preliminary inscription is essential! (maximum group: 15 to 20 people - tariff: 10€ by anybody, for an exit of approximately 2 hours 1/2). And if you wish it, will know that we are able to organize this type of animation on external sites...

| Sustainable Food and Nutrition ! |

The subject of the sustainable food settles in the actuality ! And let us be charmed we by it... This year, during 3 days, it will be taken again, analyzed and deepened by Christian Rémesy and all his team, during a Summer school, which will proceed from 19 to September 21 in Clermont-Ferrand. These high level meetings mobilize each year, more than one thousand of participants of all edges, in order to give a progress report on one year of research and publications. Around specialists, mainly of the CRNH and INSERM, it is a whole series of conferences, which are proposed to you on the food practices, the physiology of the nutrition, the evolution of the systems of productions and the preventive nutrition... Do not be long in registering you: they is enthralling and the places are limited ! On Alimenthus, discover all the stakes of a sustainable food and organic fruits and vegetables.

Each month, on our touristic place of the "Musée Gourmand", in Sadirac, we organize a "Jeu de Piste" around the History of the Food. That is held inside our "Labyrinthe Gourmand". On our explicative museography, it is necessary to seek a certain number of indices, in order to better understand the history of our food and to answer all our questions! Each month, there is a winner! And in April, the WINNER is: Mrs. BRUNI, who lives at Saint Médard en Jalles, in Gironde (33) !

It is a large audience, which took part in the conference that we organized at the time of our CAMPESTRALES 2007, with Jean Michel Dauriac. Recognized academic, joint author of the "Dictionnaire des Mondialisations" (Ed. Armand Collin), this one captivated during more than two hours, an attentive and curious public. The role of the places to be able (the triad), of the car, transport, financial flows, of the delocalization... were largely evoked and analyzed, because everyone understood well that the stakes were major !
