In April 2007, all the records of temperatures were beaten!!!

It is more than 8 with 10° of variations in the Gironde, that the meteorologists recorded during this period, which is likely to remain in annals! One moreover...

In Sadirac, spring was very hot and in spite of the few rains of this beginning of year, the dryness starts to point its nose! Even if our sowings proceed perfectly well, the situation is not with optimism. We are very anxious for the next summer months and we more and more highly perceive the consequences of what one calls the climatic reheating, which is in fact only the consequence of gases for purpose of greenhouse.

In this connection, let us not forget only in all its alternatives (food chain, heating and routing of the raw materials, transport and externalisation of the productions, concentration of the distribution, etc...), agriculture and in a more general way the agroalimentary, play an essential part in this situation (because we need to eat 3 times per day !).

And in this context of reflexion, it should be remembered that Organic Agriculture consumes much less energy than the conventional modes of production (- 30 % according to Books' of the Environment of the INRA, published in December 2006).

In addition, if one include the consumption of the wild plants and/or autochtones, this rate becomes even more interesting and more advantageous... and these practices are extremely positives in term of maintenance of the biodioversity.

It is thus essential to better diffuse our step, better to develop and make known our actions. This site was conceived to this end and we count on you to go further!
