Each month, on our touristic place of the "Musée Gourmand", in Sadirac,
we organize a "Jeu de Piste" around the sustainable food anthe history of food.

That is held inside our "Labyrinthe Gourmand". On our explicative museography, it is necessary to seek a certain number of indices, in order to better understand the history of our food and to answer all our questions!

Slow Food is an international association, based in Turin, which we adhered for a long time and which defends the products of quality and soils.

It supports the diversity of savours, the artisanal production and small agriculture, as well as the techniques of fishing, breeding and durable productions. On the whole, our step falls under the spirit of this association and its "sentinels", which seek to give again a cultural and identity dignity to the food!
 
With a spirit and a nonlucrative aim, Slow Food seeks to develop the éco-gastronomy, in order to create a feature of union between ethics and the gastronomical pleasure. Several "convivium" exist in the various French and world areas and we invite you to discover them...

Biodiversity & European Parliament for our "L�gumes Oubli�s" ! Post on : 07/13/2007
   

It's with the invitation of the European Parliament, that Bernard Lafon went to Brussels, this Tuesday July 3, in order to present his actions and to explain his step in favour of and the sustainable development for the farms and small companies.

This meeting, which aimed to present the final report of the project "Probioprise", constituted the result of several months of work and investigations. It was based on the presentation of 4 European experiments, of which Forgotten Vegetables!

This work on, which proceeded in all Europe lasting almost 2 years, mobilized the participation of several tens of scientists, of which certain professors of "Bordeaux Business School" and requested the experiment of more than one around fifty of companies!

They led to the drafting of a very complete report, which explores several topics of actions and which should be used as a basis of work, for the next Conference of Lisbon, which will bring together the various Heads of European States, the 12 and next 13 November !

July 3 : Heritage Vegetables are invited in Brussels Post on : 07/01/2007
   

It is at the request of the Standing Committee of the European Parliament, that we will present our step as well as the importance of Heritage Vegetables, as regards and of sustainable food.

After having taken part last October, during two days, with an International Workshop under the aegis of the European Parliament, our project was retained as a significant example, as regards protection of and development.

Would the stakes of a real sustainable alimentation arrive under fires of the slope?

It is a large audience, which took part in the conference that we organized at the time of our CAMPESTRALES 2007, with Jean Michel Dauriac.

Recognized academic, joint author of the "Dictionnaire des Mondialisations" (Ed. Armand Collin), this one captivated during more than two hours, an attentive and curious public.

The role of the places to be able (the triad), of the car, transport, financial flows, of the delocalization... were largely evoked and analyzed, because everyone understood well that the stakes were major !
